Digital Literacy is the Skills, Knowledge and Behavior used in Digital and Network devices. Personal computers, smartphones, mobile phones, etc., are referred to Network devices. Initially, Digital Literacy focused on Digital skills and stand-alone computers, later moved to Network devices.
Digital Literacy is different from Digital skills and Computer literacy. Computer literacy preceded digital literacy referring to practical abilities to use software or applications. Digital skills are contemporary referring to practical abilities to use digital devices.
Digital Literate Person:
Digital Literacy doesn’t replace traditional form of literacy but uses it as a foundation to build.
Digital Literacy = Digital + Literacy
